2000 Ford F150 Door Locks Not Working

Specifically when i press the button to unlock or lock the doors the locks don t respond either way.

The automatic door locks do not work. Is that the most logical thing or is there something else i can try first. Read that it might be an actuator problem not sure i can fix this. This is due to the battery dieing.

The door panel will need to be removed. The lock actuators are not hard to replace they are inside the door. This happens with both doors and both buttons. The power door locks dont work at all i have to use my key.

They do not respond to the remote. Most likely the door lock actuators have failed this is not uncommon for both to fail at the same time. When pushing either left or right door button there is a click in t read more. Checked the batteries in the key fobs checked the fuses checked the car battery.
